Work, when it truly reflects who you are, stops being work.

What I do today began as an observation, not a plan.

Turin. My city.

The moment

My first job was in a brilliant advertising agency based in Turin.

Before the Christmas break, as tradition dictated, the company organised a dinner. We all gathered in an elegant restaurant in the city.

At the head of the table sat the founder; along the sides, the rest of us.

It was a genuine evening of conversation and ease. We talked, laughed, shared professional stories from the year that was ending. There was a sense of belonging, of shared pride. We were happy to be there, proud to be part of that company and of what it represented.

At one point, I looked at the man sitting at the head of the table.

He was young, brilliant, visibly satisfied with what he had built.

In that moment, I felt admiration — and gratitude..

A choice takes shape

I was grateful for the opportunities he had given us: to grow, to learn, to develop our talents, to meet people and worlds that would quietly shape our lives. Grateful for what I had learned during that year, for the environments I had been introduced to, for the professional horizons that had opened.

That evening became a turning point.

One of those moments that clarify things without the need for words.

I understood that I wanted to become an entrepreneur — just like the man sitting at the head of that table — someone capable of organising, creating, imagining, and ultimately improving the lives of others through vision and responsibility

That evening became a reference point, not a memory.

When I’m asked what I do, I answer: I am an entrepreneur — in the deepest and most authentic sense of the word.

Here I am in Monza Circuit. My work takes me to some of Europe’s most prestigious racetracks, where I design and build hospitality spaces for leading brands.
Here I am at the G7 in Bari, alongside my wife Emanuela. Behind us is the hospitality structure designed and built by my company for Ferrero (2024)

Work as a way of being

Work has never felt like an obligation to me.

Never alienating, never detached from who I am.

For me, work has always been life, relationships, challenge. Something deeply aligned with my personality, my abilities, my natural inclinations.

I have always loved what I do.

The people I’ve met through my work have often become meaningful relationships, sometimes even friendships. Work has never been a constraint, but rather my way of being in the world.

In this sense, I consider myself fortunate.

From talent to enterprise

I started from what came naturally to me: drawing, photography, writing — talents whose origins are often impossible to explain. I combined them with my academic studies in economics, which gave me a solid understanding of how companies work: law, economic policy, accounting, structure.

After university, I received several job offers, but chose only what resonated with my character and values. I worked for a few years in advertising, learning enough to eventually found my own agency — which still exists today, even though I no longer run it.

Later came the opportunity to create the company I still lead today: PT CUP s.r.l.

While today I lead PT CUP srl, design remains one of the activities I value most — and one I could never give up.
